Is there such thing as a zoomable lowlight lens?

I'm looking for a zoom able lens that has low light capability for my nikon d5100 under $300. Its the AF-S system and I can't find many lenses.

Not for that price. Anything "fast" at constant f 2.8 costs a lot of money (to make).

I use the Nikkor 24-70 mm f/2.8 and Nikkor 70-200 mm f/2.8 in low light, but for under $300 you seem to have unrealistic expectations.
Actually your camera is quite capable of shooting at ISO's of 3200 with very little noise.

This was shot with an older Nikon D300 and your D5100 performs much better in low light, so I would expect your shots under the same conditions would be even better
