Is there a Nikon d500 camera?

I'm very confused… I know there's a Nikon d5000, but my friend said that her camera was a d500.it has a swivel screen and i'm really confused cuz I can't find it anywhere on the internet very much.help?

No such thing as a D500

the only Nikon DSLR with a swivel screen is the D5000

No, she probably read it wrong on the camera. The only thing it could possibly be if it has a swivel screen is a d5000. They made a d50 a few years ago, but it definitely did not have a swivel screen.

No such camera as the D500, so no that's NOT her camera. Nikon made a D50 and make a D5000 (DSLR's).

There's a Nikon P500 - which is a point & shoot not a DSLR.
