Is the nikon d60 worth buying? - 1
If anyone has ever used it, just wondering if its a good camera for a beginner
Based on the reviews on amazon, it is a good camera.
I'm not against your decision, Nikon is a good camera but I'd recommend you Pentax *ist DS DSLR Camera to begin with, I used the same and it's pretty amazing camera with great features that seem to be not too complex as in latest Canon and Nikon.
The D60 is a fine camera, but not just for beginners. Actually ANY dSLR is good for beginners since they all work the same way.
It is an older camera, recently replaced by the Nikon D3000, D5000 and now the newest entry level dSLR, the D3100 which sports a Full HD video feature as well.
If you are new to fotography or semi-pro; then it surely worth. This is for SLR newcomers or Semipro users. It is surely worth every penny.however, the most user friendly SLR would Cannon. But Nikon beatns Cannon in terms of picture quality.
I've used my Nikon D60 for about 2 years now and it's great! I have little knowledge on dslr's so the D60's a good starter camera
