Is Tamron AF 70-300mm f/4.0-5.6 SP Di VC USD XLD compatible with a Nikon D3000?
I'm looking into buying better lenses for my D3000, but I wanted to know if the Tamron AF 70-300mm f/4.0-5.6 will work with my D3000. Please help, and give your opinion on how the image quality might be using these lens.
Tamron, you understand, is a third party lens maker. You're really better off with Nikon lenses.
Yes it will work if you make sure it has the proper Nikon mount.
I own one Tamron lens but I don't think I'll buy any more. This one is their 18-200 and it shows some aberration issues and on occasion, even in bright light, has focus issues.
Sure. And it's a pretty good lens too!
