Let's tackle the spelling issues first, then move on to photography.

Try leaving your camera off for a few days or don't use auto focus just Manuely focus or take the battery out for a few days and let it die then charge it the same thing happened to my camera which is also a Nikon D3100 and i just did one of those steps and it worked again perfectly.

1/20 is normally a slow shutter speed, unless you can really hold your camera still.
Try to shoot faster than 1/200 for starters.

Or since you're using Live View, just put your camera on Auto.

If you look through the viewfinder, like how it's meant to be done, it will show info such as the shutter speed, aperture, iso, and exposure. I don't know if it will show on Live View, I don't use it much.

Try these ideas:

1) READ & STUDY the Owner's Manual for your camera.

2) Watch this: http://www.nikondigitutor.com/eng/d3100/index.html Who better than Nikon to teach you all about your Nikon D3100?

Unless you are shooting video, don't use live view for stills. The ability for the camera to focus takes so much longer, hence why your clear shots are 1/20.It's normal.

First, READ & STUDY the Owner's Manual for your camera.

second, take the lens off and you see some gold colored pins, they are called the contacts, try to clean them with a cloth.

third, if it still doenst work, there's something wrong with the autofocus, take it to a camera store and get it repaired…

forth, some lenses doesn't support Nikon D3100, such as the 24-70mm f/2.8(not sure… ), check and see if you have the right lens… If it's a 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6, it should work

fifth, learn to spell.

It seems you are trying to use you fine D3100 like you would a P&S camera.

You are in the big leagues now, use the viewfinder like all photographers have for over 50 years.

You can see all the data you need in the viewfinder as well as being able to compose your images exactly the way you want.

Look on page 25 and you can see how to hold the camera to avoid camera movement which is the primary cause of image blur

Live view is a really bad idea for DSLRs. Holding such a big camera out at arms length it is almost impossible to hold it still.

To get a good stable platform to take the shot:
Use the optical viewfinder
Hold the camera with your left hand cupping the lens and right hand around the grip with index finger on the shutter.
Tuck your elbows into your ribs
Stand with feet slightly apart.
Compose the shot, half pressing the shutter release to auto-focus
Gently squeeze the shutter release to take the shot
