Some photography inspiration?
So it's pouring down with rain outside, I'm stuck at home today so I was cleaning out drawers and came across some plain white masks. You know the ones that in art class you had to put your design over the top of it? As well as ones that only cover the eyes.
I was considering taking some photographs today using them. I have a Nikon D40, with a 55-200mm Lens, which makes it a little more awkward to take some self portraits due to the fact my house is also pretty small.
But anyway, I was wondering if anyone could give me a good photographer who photographs like this? Or any of their own personal ideas?
I have started, and I'm using my own ideas. Its just nice to broaden your thoughts!
Maybe you could stand in front of a window where lots of light is coming through, and where there are lots of drips on the window outside - wear the mask, and take a photo of you wearing the mask with all of the rain drop shadows on the mask. You could be looking out of the window feeling strong emotions - exaggerate your poses as you can't see your facial expressions because of the mask.
Flickr is always a great resource
