I want to take professional pictures with my nikon d40x?
I want to take professional pics with my nikon d40x, but i don't know how, i keep taking pics but it looks ordianry, how do i take profeinal pics? I'm taking pics of my baby but there no biggy looks like any ordinary pics, i want it to take pics like how the pros do it

It seems that you expect the camera to "take professional pictures".
That is up to you and to do that you will have to 1) take some classes in photography and 2) learn how to compose your shots.

I doubt that you would buy a piano and expect to just start playing it without lessons or practice, right? The same holds true with any fully adjustable camera like the D40x.
It is totally up to the cameras user to provide the skills necessary to take "professional photos"
We professionals spend years in school and many more years perfecting our skills to shoot the photos we do. There's NO magic way to produce professional photos by pressing certain buttons on a camera or use a $1000 photo program like Photoshop to try to "fix" things
