I want a fish eye lens?

I have a Nikon D3000 and I want to buy a fish eye lens for it. I'm totally clueless on what to get so could anyone be of help? Also how much would it cost and what are the cheapest ones?

There are two Nikkor fisheye lenses currently available. They cost around $600.00

You have two choices.
The Nikkor AF 10.5 mm fisheye, $680
Or the Tokina 10-17 mm fisheye zoom, $580
Usually we rent fisheye's, unless we're generating enough income from using them to justify the investment

A fisheye lens can cost as much, or more than (your) camera. They are not something you would be to use on a daily basis either - this means it is not a "walk around" lens. You play with it for a while, then you find that photos come out too strange--and you put it away.
Like fhotoace said, rent one and see what it's like.
