I tried to open a RAW image From my NIKON D3100 D It dint work. Is there any plugins or any other software where i can make the RAW image taken from my D 3100 TO open using PHOTOSHOP cs5: D

You need the "Camera Raw" plugin get it from Adobe.

You may need an update from Adobe to allow it to open files from your particular model camera.

As an aside to Eric's (correct) suggestion you can't use the 7.1 update as that will only work with CS6, fortunately any Raw Converter update from version 6.3 and upwards has the Nikon D3100 you need. Just install the 6.7 update then you will have all the cameras that CS5 will ever be able to open.

You must open it in Adobe Raw first, then save in a format the CS5 can open, such as jpeg, tiff, or dng. You should have received Adobe Raw with CS5. Alternatively, the software that came with your camera can open a raw file. Then save it in one of the above formats.
