I need tips on how to make a better video with just am entry level dslr?
It's a nikon d3100, my grandpa gave it to me and the quality of it is just okay since it's only an entry level dslr and I can't afford better equipment (i'm in college btw). I want to start a youtube channel about outfits and stuff and I need tips on how to make better videos.
What is more important then the camera… Is how you use it… Dslr have quality settings…( check the manual )… Also… Lighting, the quality of lighting… The direction the light is coming from…
So a soft white light getting bounced off the white ceiling will produce different effects then a harsh white light thrown in your face…
You back drop ( what's behind you )… Some people always seem to stand themselves in front a brick wall… Don't be afraid to use different back drops ( even outdoor back drops )… Indoors? Use different color sheets that compliment what your showing.
Catch my drift? Have fun… Experiment…
