I'm trying to buy a camera, the lens come separate, would these work together?
A Nikon 55-200mm f/4-5.6G ED-IF AF-S DX VR Lens for Digital SLR Cameras with a Nikon D70S 6.1 Megapixel Digital SLR Camera Body. I just want to make sure before i order anything
Yes, that lens should be compatible with the Nikon D70s. If that body goes kaput and you replace it with a new Nikon DX body, the lens will continue to be useful with its replacement.
Yes, it will work fine with D70.
Yes, those two will work together but bear in mind that the lens is telephoto which is for making far subjects seem near.
Agree with what's been said. Yes it'll work, but as the one and only lens, the telephoto zoom is not what you'd want to have. Unless, that it is, you know that what you want to do requries that lens and only that lens. Fortunately there are plenty of options to add to this kit.
