Nikon SLR Cameras

I'm 15 and I want a job-where do I start?

My friend just applied at a local produce store, so I might try there, but what would y'all suggest? I'm looking to buy a Nikon D3000 (I plan to go into cinematography later on, and I want a good camera now so I can start looking into lighting, angles, interesting perspective, etc.), and I'm only $84 away. Anyways, I need to get a job. Where should I look?

Jus go to local ice-cream shops on the streets… Not the malls or department stores. You would have to wait till your 16 for that. You can try Mc. Donalds to. But just the kind of jobs that wouldn't really pay much.

Walmart will hire anyone haha. It all depends on where you live, and who's hiring really.

You will probably have to wait until you turn 16. The way this economy is looking, you might have to wait until you are 18.

Check small businesses in your town or city such as
tanning salons
pet day cares
cafes
small boutiques

Start small. Like, Wendy's or McDonald's. How about Subway? People that own places like Chili's or Applebee's or any sit down restaurant.
~Hope i helped.

Well, first get your work permit from your school. Then apply at every fast food joint in town, and every retail joint. One of them may pick you up, since as a part-time worker, they won't have to pay you benefits, and you'll be cheaper to them than someone who is 25 looking for full bennies.

As of now (asking this question) its spring… Do some yard work for your neighbor like malch being the easiest… And there's usually a lot of it… Just nock on doors telling them you are trying to earn money and you would like to help for for cash

Depends wht state you live in!
generally most jobs require 18 above but few are 16, i'm not sure whether they allow 15 or not.
i'm pretty much sure, gap employees 15or16, and also check out some sneakers store.

I would suggest that, if you have any kind of career in mind for your future, start with that. I know that many people your age start off working in fast food, but that is a dead end job and most teenagers working there are dead end people. Keep in mind that you won't start your dream job right away, but will start at the bottom, working your way up from there, which may take quite a while to do. For example, if you wish to become a reporter or investigative journalist, start at your local paper, maybe in the mail room or writing a column for your local high school sports activities or something similar. Whatever you do, if you have plans for the future, now is the time to take that first step. It will give you experience for when you really start getting into choosing a career. Also, try talking to your school guidance councilor. They may be able to help you find the kind of job your looking for.

You don't necessarily have to get a job, job. What I mean is you could just do something simple like, babysit the kids in your neighbour hood, or even pet sit, you know? Simple stuff
