I have to do a Project for English Class and i need to do a mini research paper on a possible career i'm thinking of, which is Photography.
I'm in high school right now, grade Level: 10 on the verge on going to 11th grade.

(Below here are things that are required for my Project)
What Kind of Education do it need to be a Pro. Photographer?
What kind of Training?
What Job Duties are required?

I already have a Good camera and that is a Nikon D5100. Its brand new, and I'm still a newbie at how to work it. I know would have to learn to be a Pro. Photographer as in Taking pictures of Nature and other random inanimate objects. Not Studio work.

But this is just a thought on what i may work on, not a For-sure thing

There's no career called photography. You can be a journalist with a camera, you can be a wedding consultant with a camera, you can be a field zoologist with a camera, etc. You need to be an expert in some other field and then you can take pictures and get paid for the story.

When I was 10 years old, I went to the local photographer and offed myself as an apprentice. When I was old enough, I went to a Technical High school and studied photography for three hours per day for three years.

After High school, I worked as a photojournalist, then a commercial photographer. After that I became an Air Force photographer. After that I worked in an aircraft factory as a photographer. After that I started teaching photography and after that I opened my first of five studios. In 2002 I retired in Hawaii.

That's the short version, but being an apprentice got me started.
