I have a partially charged Nikon D80. How long would it take to fully charge?
A flat battery recharges in a couple of hours using the Nikon charger supplied with the camera. A partially charged battery should be quicker than that.
Batteries do not last for ever so, eventually, it will start to hold less charge. When its start to fade too quickly every time, it is probably time to get a new battery. To avoid suffering a flat battery or worn out battery at an inconvenient time, I always have two batteries that I use in rotation.
Less than about 1-3 hours that a completely exhausted battery would take. How "partially" used up is it? 1% 10 % 77.34% Take the time that a 100% exhausted battery would take and divide it by the percentage of power used to come up with a general idea of how long it'll take to fully charge.
Overnight? If you use one of those quick chargers, 2-3 hours at the fastest maybe? I still prefer to do it overnight so that it can trickle charge and get maximum capacity.
There's no simple answer to your question. What charger are you using? How "partial" is the charge? How many charge cycles has the battery undergone to date? What is the ambient temperature in the charging environment?
If you put it on charge at the same time as writing this question, it would likely be charged before you got your first answer.
You mean the battery? Maybe two hours or more.
