I have a Nikon D60, the AF-S Nikkor 55- 200 lens is not spot metering?

Has the built in motor gone, can I get it fixed or do I have to buy a new one?
Is there a Nikon specialist in the South West of England that anyone knows of?

Metering has nothing to do with autofocus.

If your 55-200's autofocus motor is dead, it will cost more to fix than replace it.

Call Nikon in the UK and ask for the closest authorized Nikon repair shop.

You may want to look in to buying the new Nikon D3200 if you have enough pennies stashed away… The auto-focus repair may cost over £300
