I don't own an editing program at all. I always shoot in raw mode

And don't suggest gimp or anything like that I would like to buy something and $150 is All I can do

Added (1). Doesn't say anything about any camera being supported it says what you need for it to work on your computer

Adobe Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements 10 is within your budget, but, RAW Mode may, or may not be supported, because there really is no Standard for RAW, yet.

So, make sure that your Camera is listed as supported, in the Adobe Photoshop Element's specs, or recommended on Nikon's Website, before you BUY.

RAW only applies to Photos, so, look at Premiere Elements-supported Video file formats, too.

If you're looking to spend money to enhance your photo editing, why don't you use gimp and UFRaw for free, and spend that money on a Wacom tablet? Gimp and Ufraw collectively can do more than photoshop elemrnts, and in my opinion are much better once you learn how to use gimp. Wacom tablets make photo editing much easier (and more fun!)
