Try out each one in a camera store - no-one on here can say which is best for YOU. Test them out for weight, how they feel in your hand, where the buttons are & how the menus are laid out.

We can't decide for you what YOU want.

First, you must understand that the Nikon D90 is an older model, but was superior enough that it can be considered part of this generation's models of cameras.

Truth is that there will be a very minor difference in quality between the two. Choose which camera fits best in YOUR hand, which is easiest for YOU to use and manipulate, etc.

Comfort using the camera is more important than the minor differences in specifications.

You need to decide what is best for YOU. You can't just go by what other people's opinions are or just comparing the stats of the cameras. You need hands on and see if the camera fits your hands, the weight is not to heavy, and you are able to control the function buttons easily. A camera is like the photography you will be taking (unique to you). Get hands on!
