Simple drag and drop. Plug in sd card (either in card slot or adapter) open d3100 folder. Find file. Drag to computer. It's the same as with the pictures.

Remove the SD card from your camera and insert it into the SD card reader on your computer.
Use your computer skills and the file manager to copy all the image and video files to your computer.
If your computer does not have a card reader, you can buy a USB 2.0 card reader ($2 to $10) just about anywhere
