How to upload videos onto youtube from my Nikon D3100 camera without it taking forever?
Whenever I try to upload a video (after being edited in Windows Movie Maker) the uploading time takes basically the whole day, and if I were to leave my laptop, the screen saver will come on and the uploading process will error. It frustrates me so much and I really want to know if I should be using a lesser sized video setting, or if the whole thing is just in my head. :/ Help please.
I presume you copy the file over onto the PC first? It will be slower if you try to do it directly from your camera.
The only other thing to check is that when you are uploading is anyone else using the bandwidth (e.g. Any other computers connected to internet, any XBOX or PS3 connected etc). Try doing it when nothing else is using connection. Also try it later in the day or at night, you might find you get better upload speeds.
