How to upload a video to YouTube in HD?

I filmed a video but when I uploaded it to YouTube the quality was blurry and the video wasn't widescreen. I used a Nikon D5000 to film and windows movie maker to edit.

You must set screen to 16:9 while editing the movie in movie maker.

1. On the Project tab, set the Aspect Ratio to 16:9.
2. You need to create a Custom Profile for your HD video. I gave the instructions re how to do this to this Asker last week. It's very easy to do.

To upload to YouTube, change the frame rate to 30.00 (instead of 29.970). Also, when you're actually saving the video, when the Save window appears be sure the video is saving as a MPEG-4/H264 video.
