How to adjust your shutter speed on a Nikon D80 Camera?
I want to be able to freeze shots of a biker passing by and whatnot… But i don't know how to do it…
Look in your manual.everything is there.
the thing is how are you taking pictures? Are you keeping it on auto? That is the worst. You need to keep it on A, M, or S at all times for better results.
I also suggest you get a book specifically to your camera.
1. Set your mode dial to A
2. Set your f/stop value lowest as possible
3. If it's cloudy or dusk, set a high iso value such as ISO 800 or higher
Set ISO to 400 and dial mode to S. Turn wheel to select 1/2000s shutter speed and work your way up or down for taste. If something blinks, it means, that setting is not possible. Try going down.
