How to adjust aperture nikon d3100?
Either read the manual or admit it's too much camera and take it back to the shop.
Adjust aperture is such a basic action on any DSLR… If you have to ask…
It is very simple.
Step 1) Read the instructions that came with you camera.
Step 2) Do what the instructions say.
Stop being lazy.
RTFM.
Read the f***ing manual. In the same amount of time it took you to ask and post this question you could have read it and figured it out by now.
I agree, it's a very basic function. There's a dial on the top of the camera (right hand side). Rotate it to the letter 'A'. This is your aperture setting. 'S' is your shutter speed. Once you have the dial turned, there's another dial-type thing right under it on the back side of the camera. Rotating that will adjust the aperture. The higher the number, the smaller the aperture while the lower the number, the larger the aperture. A large aperture is what you need for portrait photos.
Hope this helped!
It never ceases to amaze me at people who buy such a camera with no intention of making a modicum of effort to read the freaking instructions to learn how to use the thing. Take it back and get some goofy little point and shoot that does not require any thinking or effort on your part.
