I would like to know how much it is at the moment. And what's the best and cheapest DSLR nikon camera to buy.

You can get the D3100 for $550. That price is pretty much standard among all shops and online stores
the best Nikon DSLR is the D4 for sports for general photography, and the D800 for still life, landscapes, and portraits
the cheapest is the D3100.

The currently "best", lowest priced Nikon dSLR is the D3200 ($700)
It replaced the D3100. The extra $50 for the D3200 is well worth the cost
