How to get the date to show on my DSLR Nikon D50?

I want to be able to have the date show on pictures I take with my DSLR Nikon D50 and print out on pictures.

Nope can't be doen in camera, the date and time and other info is recorded in the EXIF file but it does not show in the image. There are print utilities that will add the date and time to the image post exposure.
