How to enhance colors on D3100 nikon?

You can use vivid colors or add another costume color set on you camera before taking shots
for editing photos, If you know how to work with adobe camera raw, or one light.software, its really easy to boost saturation or vibrance on your photos. You can download profile or preset and set it for your photos too.
