How to clean my d3000 nikon camera?

I got caught in a dust storm while trying to take pictures… How do I clean the camera?

If there's just dust on the outside, lens and so on, I use a large size women's makeup brush and carry it in my bag. It's soft and great for quick dust offs before and after a shoot.

However, if dust has gotten inside the camera I'd recommend a professional cleaning. It will cost you but it will be worth it.
