How to motivate and save my money?

So I'm trying to save up money to by myself the Nikon D3100.It's around 700$. And I'm trying to find ways to save my money to actually buy it. Since I'm 14, I can't get a job in NYC. So please help me! I really want it. Any ideas?

Do you get an allowance? How much? How much of it do you spend?

If getting that camera is really important to you and you find it hard to save, how about asking your parents to keep 50% of your allowance with them so you can't spend it?
