Is Nikon's 50mm f/1.8 good for travel and landscape photography?

I know that the 50mm is a very sharp and fast lens and especially good in terms of bokeh, but would it be good for landscape/general travel photography?

Masticina Akicta is right. You'll want something a little wider. <24mm for landscape. I do love the 50, 1.8 though. Just not for landscape. It is however more compact so i suppose it's good for travel.

If you have a full sized sensor it is but I'd get the 50mm f1.4 If you have a DX sensor you are better off with a wider lens in the 24-35mm range

Travel, okay. Landscape, lacking. General, perfect.
