Editing hd video from dslr with adobe cs3, less quality?
I'm wondering if editing my hd video(from nikon d5100) with adobe cs3 will produce worse quality video when I'm exporting it than if I use cs4. What's the best software actually for editing hd video?
Any program that can handle hd will export that same quality video as any other.
CS3 did not handle AVCHD or any H.264 codec video very well. CS4 was a little better but CS5 and 5.5 handles those videos natively and results are exponentially better. No need to render. Most of the major names in video editing "adobe, avid, Final Cut, Sony, Grass Valley" edit such footage natively now.
