DSLR setting for upcoming auto show?
I just bought my first DSLR camera. It's a Nikon D3000 and its perfect for me bc I'm new to the dslr world still. The camera comes with a kit lens 18mm-55mm. I know that the lens is very basic but I can't change it before the upcoming auto show.
What settings on my camera are preferable for an auto show? Keep in mind that I prefer shooting in Aperture priority mode. I tried the camera in low light and indoor conditions and most pictures are quite blurry.
Please help me set my camera so I can get best results of that lens.
Thanks in advance!
Added (1). Despite some people NOT giving me any advice and saying I have to read the manual I would still appreciate those of you that can actually give me a legit technical advice and not respond with a "wise" comment. I'm sure you were new to cameras yourself once
Try MANUAL and actually learn something sparky…

Have you RTFM yet? Most people don't even seem to know one is always included IN the box. It CAN teach you a lot!
Without knowing the lighting and the layout of the venue where you're taking the pics it's impossible to tell you the right settings.
As Camera Guy said… RTFM! Also, Google is a wonderful resource for learning those pesky things called exposure, focus, lighting, and even composition. Amazing isn't it? Now, how bad do you want to learn how to shoot this versus stick it on auto and hope for the best?
Set you camera to shutter speed priority and try to stay ay 1/125 or faster. You need to raise your ISO until you get an exposure.
Use flash.
If you can't or don't want to use flash, then obviously you use the widest aperture and the highest ISO so that the camera picks the fastest shutter speed possible for the ambient lighting conditions.
blurry shots are the fault of the photographer (not the camera)
You won't have time to think. You won't have time to shoot them all. Auto everything to get all of them car show girls. Err… I mean cars. Don't be shy to use the flash for maximum visibility.
