+1 for Sony A33 and A55. They are going to be VERY interesting, take a look at the review on dpreview.com.

In the new year there's also a rumoured replacement for the Sony A700 which may be the A77, now that is going to be very, very interesting.

Sony have just made Canon and Nikon very nervous.

If you wait, they will come. Never mind the tons of picture taking opportunities you will miss. It will be worth having the most up to date, high-tech, full-featured dSLR in your hands when the time comes. If that time comes. You may always keep waiting. New models turn around very quickly.
