Since you need to be copying your images to your memory card to your computer at the end of each day of shooting, it is doubtful that you would fill a 4 gb card in a single day of shooting, even if you shoot RAW. After you successfully copy all the images to your computer, you are supposed to format your memory card using the format feature on your camera to keep the card viable

If you plan on shooting any video, you will want to buy a Class 10 memory card. Buy a hand full of 4 gb Class 10 cards, the if any thing happens that corrupts your card, you will not have lost thousands of images
