Does the Nikkor 50mm f/1.8 autofocus with the Nikon D3000?

angiexxpangie
I just bought a Nikkor 50mm f/1.8 lens and I was wondering how I would be able to make this lens autofocus with my D3000.Is there any way? If not, which f/1.8 lens would?

It is very simple.AF lenses do not auto focus with your camera.AF-S lenses DO auto focus with your camera. This is covered in the instructions that came with your camera…

The D3000 is not equipped with a screwdriver; the 50mm f/1.8 will not autofocus on it.
You want a lens that is marked AF-S. The AF-S 50mm f/1.8G for example.
