If you can see these. I would like your opinion on the photos I have taken. I have a Nikon D3200 and hope to be a successful photographer one day, but I'm taking it slow and doing research and enrolling in classes to make me better. I have a basic knowledge in editing and taking photos so don't be too harsh critiquing the photos I edited!

I would just like your opinion on what is good and what I can improve on! Also, BriShae is a combination between my sister and I names. Brittany & Shae= BriShae. We wanted something no one had and if we were successful had a easy to go to domain name. Thanks a bunch and I hope you can view my photos!

These photos are good for someone of your age (i'm assuming your very young)

tips:
-learn principles of design, they will help you with composition. For instance "rule of thirds"
-you can make your photos better with desiginng software such as adobe, touch the skin to make it flawless(those type of simple details)
-i like that your photos have a fun and sponataneous quality to them, but they kind of looked like it was taken by someone who isn't truly considering photography career.
-My test tip is too study old painting portraits, try to learn composition from those.
-Play with setting of the camera such as fstop and shutterspeed to give it abstract look.

Don't buy domain yet, publish work in websites like flickr or 4ormat.

On the first photo, it seems to have a pretty close to perfect highlights/shadows and I'm betting the histogram looks pretty even. So that's a great start. However, with her eyes shut I'm not to sure what the focus of the picture is. Is it her hair? Her nose ring? She also looks a bit young. This is a personal preference and many people strongly believe and and dis-believe in touch up of blemishes. I'm assuming that is acne and not like a scar or birth marks. I would touch that up and smooth it out.

Second photo, colors are awesome for this photo. I'm not sure if it's due to the web version, but the shadows seem to be a bit to much on this photo. I would just raise the shadows a bit to get detail out of the hair and eyes. Otherwise personal preferences: the crop (or composition) is a bit close to the arm for my liking. Makes me feel something was there that shouldn't be and make me wonder about that instead of looking at the photo. I would also bring up the crop above the foot, but with the logs there it actually works for me on this one. Love that you were able to break a 'rule' and make it look great there.

Third photo, seems slightly under exposed. My eyes were drawn to her hip and armpit first, which then led me up her arm and the cut off seemed out of place on this one. With this type of pose, I would have kept her arm in it. Again, I would remove those blemishes as it's not something she will have for the rest of her life. Unless they are birthmarks or scars or something like that, I would clean it up. Last thing, the eyes are closed again. Missing the subject without her eyes. Great smile, those eyes would have made it pop.

Fourth Photo i would just correct the white balance. She seems a bit colder than the rest of the photo. Like others, clear the blemishes. I also thought it was a long hair on my screen, but that white line on the left that cuts through the shadows is very distracting. I would clone that out lol. Otherwise, great capture! Why did I not mention the eyes? This photo seems like a candid photo, and feels perfect with that big smile.

Overall, generally great photos! Most of the nitpicks that I pointed out are personal preferences. I hope you take my words as simply as a critique and not picking apart your work. It's easy for me to stare at a photo looking for something wrong since it was asked: D.
