D80 Nikon In-built Flash Bulb Replacement?

chrisjbrady
I have a replacement bulb from eBay (China). How do I replace this without electrocuting myself from the cap.discharge.

Alan
You need to discharge the cap with a resistive wire. A pair of clip leads and an automotive light bulb (such as a dome lamp) in series will safely discharge the cap, and you can see the charge visually that way.
