Compare the Nikon 24-120mm f/3.5-5.6D Lens with the Nikon 55-200mm f/4-5.6G?
I'm trying to decide which one to buy! I have a Nikon D3000, and I'm VERY new to photography so any input would be helpful. I haven't really researched the Nikon 24-120mm f/3.5-5.6D Lens so I'm not even sure if it's compatible or if it's what I'm looking for. Any advice is helpful!
Additional information:
I'm looking for a lens that will give me more zoom. I don't need PERFECT quality photos, but decent quality would be nice.
Apples and oranges. If you want more reach, then you want the 55-200.It is 80mm longer, which is a notable difference.
The 24-120 will not autofocus on your camera anyway, making it less than useful.
If it is within your budget, and you really want to get some reach, look at the Nikon 55-300.
