What country is the Nikon 24-120mm AF-D lens made in?

I've been researching but can't find it.

Added (1). Yes it is made in Japan! I finally found a picture of the backside of the lens where it tells you where it is made.

If the quality control is up to Nikon standards, it should not matter where it was made.

But the older designs have more of a chance to be made in Japan.

Most current Nikon products are made in China, Thailand, and Indonesia.
