Can the Nikon D90 take videos?

I've been looking for a while to find a dSLR camera that will take photos and videos, simply because I don't want to buy a dSLR camera and also a camcorder. The camera I'm currently looking to buy is a used Nikon D90 12.3 MP Digital DSLR Camera. Keep in mind that I'm not looking for a VERY high class camera in any way. I've had many cameras in the past, but this will be my first dSLR camera.

Yes, but the Sony SLT A-58 is available new and will blow it out of the water.
The D90 is excellent for stills (so good, that many actually prefer it to Nikon's D3xxx/D5xxx budget models, despite only being available used), but it was the first DSLR to have video capability, and no DSLR performs this task very well.

The Nikon D90 was the first dSLR capable of shooting video.
Not wanting to buy both a still and video camera is a little short sited.
Why?
Because to make a dSLR into a viable video camera will cost a lot more than buying a nice Nikon D90 and a Full HD video camera (Under $250)
Using a dSLR as a video camera is just the tip of the cost iceberg.

As long as you do not have unrealistic expectations, then you will be able to shoot video and stills using the D90
