Can a Nikon D3000 take videos?

I'm confused about the video reviews i watched recently and they haven't shown any videos from it. Can it take a video? Or if can't, can a D3100 can?

No it don't hav any video recording option but the newer d3100 'll record full hd video

When Nikon introduced the D3000 as the replacement for the D40 they totally screwed up by not adding video and live view - two features consumers demanded. They quickly dropped the D3000 and replaced it with the D3100 which has video and live view.
Don't overlook the Sony SLT A35 and SLT A55 - both of which allow full-time continuous auto focus whether you're shooting still pictures or full 1080p video.
