Can't see image files on SD card after ejected from Nikon D3000?
Hardware:
SanDisk Ultra 15MB/s 8GB SDhc
Nikon D3000
MacBook Pro 15" Late 2011
Issue:
Insert SD card into Nikon.
Took about 500 pics.
Powered down, ejected SD card.
Inserted SD card into MBP. Opened Finder window, navigated to SD card. Open DCIM.
Nothing.
Get Info > Zero Bytes in DCIM folder.
Properly ejected SD from MBP.
Inserted SD card back into Nikon.
Image files showed up and can be browsed.
Can't figure out why I can't see the images on MBP. Anyone have this issue? I don't think I've ever formated the SD card before. Besides, just last week I didn't have this problem. I was able to use Lightroom and/or Aperture.
Should I try navigating the directory via Terminal?
I'm not a Mac guy but the folders are the same. Under the DCIM folder is the folder you're looking for. It may be named 100D3000. You need to find that folder and open it to see your pix. What harm is there in trying "Terminal"?
