It is a rather old manual focus Nikkor lens.

If you look on page 97 of your user manual, you will see that you can use ANY AI, AI-S or AI modified lens on your camera

That means yes, you can use that lens. It was a lens designed specifically for event photographers in the 1970's and used on Nikon F cameras

If you don't care about auto focus not being available, yes, you can.

Manually focusing on today's digital cameras are kind of tough though with only green dot being your guide.

I personally wouldn't try it, but it will work for you.
