Can D90 work in Santa Claus Village?

Can Nikon D90 SLR work in -10 degree C to -20 degree C? I'm planning to go Santa Claus Village in December and worry that my D90 can't work. If it is true based on its technical specification (0-40 degree C), can any one suggest ways to get around?

Are you talking about Santa Claus Village the amusement park near Rovaniemi in the Lapland, region of Finland? Or something else, Like the North Pole one.

The biggest factors with the D90 in those conditions is moister. The cold itself is not big of a deal its when you pull the camera out of a nice cozy pack ice crystals can attach, melt, and enter crevasses. Then you put the camera back in the cozy bag then the next time you pull the camera out It has the potential of freezing the water where it can cause damage.

So I would recommend using a rein protective case (looks like a ziplock bag with a place for the lens to have a clear shot.

Also If you allow the camera to become adjusted to the temp slowly and take your time watching for moisture, wipe it clear. And when you get back to your lodging allow your gear to come apart and dry out.
