Can any microphone fit on the nikon d3100?

Hi I'm getting the nikon d3100 and I will be filming with it and I'm wondering if I can even get a mic for it, and if I can what one should I get?

No, there's no external mic jack for the D3100.

Unfortunately, the Nikon D3100 doesn't have an input for an external microphone.

However, the Nikon D3200 does have an input for an external microphone. So you might want to consider upgrading to the D3200.
