Camera Lens is stuck?
I'm using a Nikon D3100 with the Nikkor 50mm 1.8d lens, and the lens won't come off the body!
I don't know if I just got a faulty lens, or if I'm doing something wrong, but I'm removing it in the same way that I've done with all of my other lenses: pressing down the release button and twisting in the direction that brings the two white dots together. It just won't let go, what do I do?
Added (1). I have been trying to get it off the camera for days now, and I haven't been forcing it.
Don't try too hard, it can break the lens or even worse ruin your camera.
Put it aside for some minutes and then try again slowly and gently. You're actually doing it right but you might be doing it too fast or hardly

Is it that it will not rotate to line up the white dots, or is it that the white dots align but the lens won't release?
Are you first pressing the release and THEN rotating the lens body? It may be that you are trying to turn the lens before the release can let go.
In any case, if it's still stuck, there's nothing you can safely do to fix this. It would be better to take it to a camera shop to have a qualified tech do it. You should NOT take any tools to it or use any kind of spray or lube. You might make things worse.
