Camera DSLR Advice for semi-starter. Nikon or Canon?
Camera DSLR Advice for semi-starter… Nikon or Canon?
Hello everyone!
Quick intro. I'm about to buy my first DSLR camera, keep in mind that my aunt is a photographer and I have messed with her equipment lots of times. I want to buy something of my own though and my budget is not that big, also I would be able to access my aunts NIKON lens.
I think my choices vary from the NIKON D90, D3200 or Canon 600D.
What would be a better investment?
Added (1). I forgot to mention… I could buy canon lenses or other lenses too, it would just be available to use nikon lenses for free.
Any other camers?
If you want to use Nikon lenses, then Nikon is your only option. Why consider Canon?
Nikon will be a better option, if you want to use your Aunt's NIKON lenses.
Canon 600D is therefore eliminated.
Well, I know DSLR's literally never get old but the D90 is just too old.
So Nikon D90 isn't a decent option.
* Nikon D3200 is a very good option.
Well, if you want to consider more options
-Nikon D5200.
-Nikon D7100.
Both are good and are the latest DSLR's in the market.
Well it's certainly handy if your aunt is prepared to lend you lenses from time to time. Lenses are the investment, not the camera, as you will use the same lenses for many years while updating your camera bodies. The most important difference between Canon and Nikon is handling. They each use distinctive ergonomic designs and most people find they prefer one or the other. Wherever you intend to purchase from, go to a well-stocked store and handle models that interest you. Allow yourself a few minutes to become accustomed to each layout, try out numerous functions, and fire off some shots noting how intuitively you changed settings. Once you have made up your mind about which brand, then look closely at the specifications and qualified reviews to select your model.
