Best Entry Dslr Camera?

I started out with a point and shoot, I've had a bridge for 3years and I'm ready to invest in my first dslr, I've been looking into the NIKON d3100, d60, CANON t2i, xs, SONY a230, a390, PANANSONIC lumix dmc-gh2, what would you recommend for a entry level camera?

I own two that I recommend, the Rebel XS - which you say you've looked at. It's an excellent camera and I'm getting excellent results.
I also have a t1i (I bought it for video) and it's excellent as well.
Sounds to me as if you're a serious photographer. Take the time to really learn your dslr and understand the relationship between ISO, aperture, shutter speed and light. Unless you know these you'll not get the kind of results you really want.
Also, I don't know about your bridge camera, but don't use your dslr on full auto. If you do you'd might as well keep your bridge because you'll not get the results these cameras are capable of.

I ahve own minolta slr's and canon slr's but i have never been let down by a nikon. Canons seem great because they have all these little bells and whistles but remember the more features a camera has the more likely things wrong. I worked in a camera store for 8 years and canons were always out on repair more then nikons. That could be because there are more canons out there but it was very rare to see a nikon repair.

I'd recommend either the Nikon D3100 or the Canon T2i.
I lean more towards the Canon T2i solely because I'm a Canon user and have had an excellent experience with them. Both are wonderful cameras. I think you should go to a camera shop and try them out.
