Attachable flip out screen for Nikon D3100?

I bought a Nikon D3100 a little while back for bird photography. I got busy and never had the time to use it much, so I never really was able to learn much about dslr cameras. Now, this probably sounds stupid, but is there an attachable flip out screen you can buy for this particular camera? I wan't to make videos now, but would like to have a flip out screen.

An attachable flip screen has not been done because it would mean changing the electronics to the current screen. It's possible, but I don't know of anyone who has done it.

Some people have used mirror(s) to see their screen.
