A good travel tripod for DSLR?

I want to get a a light weight travel tripod for my Nikon D60. Looking at a few travel tripods on amazon and their reviews, i got the feeling light weight ones don't often support DSLRs. Is there any reliable light weight ones that are reliable?

Lots of inexpensive retractable compact tripods around, mine has 4 sections 3 leg and stands when extended to around 4 feet. Closed up it is about 9 inches so fits in an outside pocket or easily in a camera bag. Being light weight if not careful when pressing the shutter release it is possible to ''shake'' the camera, so i use a release cable to operate the shutter so no camera movement. Check your local store.
