3 DSLR cameras, which one is better?

Canon EOS 1100D, Nikon D3100 and Sony α33. Sony is about 90€ more expensive than others, so is it worth the extra price?

Being a Canon guy I always recommend what I own and know. The 1100D is the upgrade to the
Rebel XS and does 720HD video. If you want / need full HD at 1080 perhaps the 500D would be a better choice in the Canon line. I own the 500D and it's an excellent camera.

Only you can know which is best for you.

Visit a proper camera shop and hold all three in your hands with a nice 18-200 mm lens attached to each one. This will help you decide which camera will be the easiest to use with a long lens.

Fotoace is right. Neither of these cameras is better than the other. You need to go into a camera store and handle them all, see which one feels more comfortable, size, weight, button layout etc. That should be the one you choose.

Ignore biased recommendations from people.

Again, fhotoace is correct

I will weigh in and say that you should stick with Canon and Nikon because they have more lenses, more accessories, and more support than sony alpha DSLRs

I will also say that the D3100's video capabilities are better than the 1100D's.
