Does anyone notice this difference between canon and nikon pictures?
It seems like photos taken with nikon DSLRs in which the center of attention is something close to the camera, the background is really dark, while with canon DSLRs everything in the picture is brighter all around even if the focus is something closer to the camera.
Unless I'm just going crazy.
Probably just that the photographer knew what he / she was doing when they took the photos in question. Why don't you send us a couple of links, perhaps we can comment.
Thats a difference between shooting style, not camera brand. Not to mention that you really have to compare the exact same pictures taken at the same time on the same day with the same settings with the same lenses and have them both on a tripod to be able to make a difinitive comparison between the two. You also have to shoot in raw.
Your going crazy.
I've noticed it different, to me it looks like nikon pictures are softer, or grainier, something like that, which kind of reminds me of film, while canon are brighter and clearer. I personally like the nikon pictures better, but I have a canon lol.
